  • 100 g (about 3.5 oz) dark chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Instructions

Prepare the dates:

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F).
  • Chop the dates into small pieces. You can soak them in hot water for 10 minutes to soften, then drain.

Make the batter:

  • In a large bowl, beat the softened butter with the sugar until you get a creamy mixture.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, continuing to beat until the mixture is smooth.
  • Incorporate the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Mix well.
